Maggie is a one year old female Borzoi/Afghan mix that was on Craigs list.  The owner got her at a flea market Maggie She’s is up to date on vaccinations, and needs to be spayed (which rescue will do). We don’t usually take mixes but there is no denying what she is and she is adorable.

We have no idea on breeder or if there are more siblings out there.  Maggie’s DOB is 7/28/15

She is in Arcadia, LA.

Solomon is a male, 4 years old. His colors are black and tan. He is neutered and up to date on his shots.  Solomon is good with other dogs and adults, but not children. His current owner has children visiting frequently, and cannot keep him.

Tatiana is about 5 years old. She lives in Texas with a foster. Tatiana is shy and will need a special home with lots of gentle care. She was locked in an abandoned house and left to die. A wonderful person found her, near death, and got her to a vet. Tatiana was on IVs for two weeks, and pulled through the malnutrition and dehydration. She needs to gain a little weight, but will always be small for an Affie girl.

Beyonce and Annie are with a foster in Washington State. They are littermates, around 9 years old. They were surrendered, with two other sisters, to a shelter a couple of months ago. Because they have all been together their whole lives, and have been through a lot of trauma, we want them to be adopted as a pair. Beyonce and Annie are good with other dogs, but no cats. They are looking for a nice yard, a big sofa, and someone to love them forever.

We have four girls in Washington State, all surrendered to the Humane Society.

We want to adopt them as pairs, since they have been together since birth, and have been through a lot. This is the first pair: Mercedes is the brindle, and Ebony is the black one. They are eight years old, and are looking for a great home!   Great homes in other states will be considered.

Wonderful Oxy, Oxy is a loving 7 yr old reddish cream male Afghan.  We know very little about him except that we have clippings of him being shown in April, 2010.  He has lived with a quiet cat and seems to be okay with other dogs….would advise a slow introduction.  He is very playful and affectionate when with people.  Right now, due to the Holiday Season, he is in a kennel and not happy at all.  I would be keeping this boy, if my other male would allow me too.  He would make a wonderful only dog, happy to receive all the attention.

Sasha is available for adoption. She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date with all her vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and on preventative. She is on flea and tick prevention. Sasha is good with all other dogs, large or small, but please no cats. She is 8 yrs old and house and crate trained. She rarely barks but will let you know when it is time to go outside.

We had a biopsy done on Sasha because she has a tumor on her left side. The tumor is benign and all her blood work came out good. She has had a dental and is ready to go to a new forever home!
