Lost Afghan Hound - Jumped fence near Columbia
KY July 6, 2006 - Hosanna Precious Gift Red/cream female 7 years, 25",
about 50 lbs
- was in full coat - last seen matted, tangled, full of burdocks

Afghan Hound Found in Texas |

A small (48 lbs) brindle Afhgan Hound has been found in
Liberty Texas. Liberty is a suburb of Houston. She is
heartworm positive and apparently in
heat. They have clipped her down - according to the rescuers, she was
severely matted and limping due to said matting. They also gave parvo
vaccine, rabies vaccine and flea treatment.

Found in Austin - 2 Afghan Hounds |
|
These two Afghans were found running down
City Park Road which is off Farm to Market road 2222 in North West
Austin. This is very close to the north side of Lake Austin. This area
is well off the highway but close to Emma Long Park which is an area
that someone might have visited for Easter Sunday. The park is close to
the boat docks and camping area. Please give me a call

their family and or breeder. These Afghans were great in the car and
were not afraid of me.
Dana P. a very nice woman found these two Afghans running down City Park
Drive. Dana's husband was able to catch them and bring them to their
house while Dana spent the morning looking for their owners by contacted
vets and breeders in the area. There is no ad in our local paper today
but maybe there will be one in the Friday paper.
Please help if you have any information about these two Afghans. I do
have pictures and will send them ASAP. Thank you

Lost in San Diego - Chausser |
 There is a
lost afghan hound in the San Diego area. He ran away from
a home on Waring Road in Allied Gardens (near Mission Valley) while the
owner was out of town. Black collar, AVID chip, San Diego County
license, hair is cut short.

in San Dimas, CA. Ella is in full coat, which very likely is full of
stickers and thorns. She has been staying in a large park (very wild) just
northwest of Los Angeles.

Crickett |

Crickett has been a stray since April, she
will not resemble this!
"Crickett"
is a 4 year old petite black female Afghan Hound who has been missing from
the Kent, Ohio area since April 22, 1999.
The most recent sighting was on
June 1, from a highway patrolman on Rte. 422, between Auburn Corners and
Parkman. Her owners have ads in newspapers from Cleveland to Ashtabula,
and from Lake County to Portage County (this covers the northeastern
corner of Ohio). They have spent their weekends stuffing mailboxes with
flyers and driving for hours. Crickett seems to be slowly moving northeast
from home.

is a 2 year old male who jumped the fence at his owner's home in Moorehead, Minnesota, in
March, 1998. He was last seen crossing the bridge into Fargo, North Dakota, on March 18,
1998. He is an unusual golden color, and is tattooed.
