good with children, cats and other dogs. He is happy to stand by your side
and gaze into your eyes, looking for your approval.

Beth - 10 yr old s/m red female
Beth is a small middle aged girl who is just as sweet as sugar. She
follows me around the house wherever I go, and loves sitting quietly on her
couch in front of the fan... Beth is housebroken and good with cats. She is
truly a wonderful girl.
Beth has just been spayed, and is ready for her new home by mid-August.

Shaggy - 11 yr old s/m cream male
Thanks to the shelter volunteers at Visalia Humane Society, Shaggy no
longer lives up to his name! He loves his new summer haircut!!!
This is the sweetest, gentlest dog I have seen in a long time. He gets
along with all the other afghans here, walks nicely on the leash, loves
everyone, housebroken......his kennel card said he didn't like cats, but he
is fine with my cat here.
Doesn't someone have room for a big sweetie like Shaggy?
Shaggy is currently being fostered in Mesa, Arizona

Fancy is probably 11 or 12 years old .
This darling "'young at heart" girl is looking for a comfortable couch to
spend her afternoons snoozing. She is sweet as can be....and loves going for
little walks. Gets along with the other afghans here, and good with cats.
Anyone have room for a special senior girl? |

Penny Lane - 8 or 9 yr old b/m cream female
Penny Lane has to be one of the sweetest afghans I've ever met. Her tail
is constantly wagging. Picked up stray by animal control, her shelter stay
certainly did not affect her personality!
Penny Lane gets along with all the other afghans here, and is fine with
the cats. I think this girl would be OK with children as well. We are
working on her housebreaking.
